Two Memorable Events
It has been a busy week with two memorable campus events: the Lt. Col. John H. Dale,Sr. Distinguished Lecture Series in International Security and Global Policy and the opening session of our Centennial Celebration History of Civil Rights. I also met two amazing women: former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, who spoke on the future of NATO and Gwendolyn Elaine Armstrong Chamberlain, the first African-American to attend The University of Southern Mississippi. I was impressed with the evident strength of both women - pioneers who changed our world.
Ms. Albright telling me a funny story she called "bladder diplomacy."
