Scholars Bowl 2012

The Scholars Bowl is an academic competition pitting one team of students, faculty or staff against another.  Collegiate teams from South Mississippi will compete throughout the day in 30-minute trivia matches, until the final two teams compete for the coveted Golden Eagle trophy. 10:30 a.m. – Round 1: Sigma Tau Delta Turtles vs. Speaking & Writing Center

11:00 a.m. – Round 2: Schrodinger’s Wildcats (PRCC)
                                     vs. Student Government Rocketeers

11:30 a.m. – Round 3: Team MAS Confusion (MGCCC)
                                     vs. Bulldog Krewe (MGCCC)

Noon – Round 4: Latin Kings (MGCCC) vs. Library Rules

12:30 – 1:30 p.m.: Scholars Bowl Luncheon hosted by the Academic Dean*

1:30 p.m. – Round 5 (Play Off)

2:00 p.m. – Round 6 (Play Off)

2:30 – 3:30 p.m.: Final Round & Awards Ceremony

*The Scholars Bowl Luncheon will be hosted by the Academic Dean,
 Dr. Tom Lansford.  (Scholars Bowl teams and personnel only, please).
