What is Gold Rush?

Gold Rush is orientation and registration for all new degree-seeking students at Southern Miss. 

At Gold Rush, you will:

  • Meet with academic adviser and create class schedule
  • Pre-order textbooks
  • Provides critical information and resources to help you succeed at Southern Miss Gulf Coast
  • Receive 1 hour credit (new, full-time students)
