Graphic Standards Manual
A unified graphic identity is vital to the clear and consistent representation of the Southern Miss brand. University Communications is responsible for maintaining and developing university graphic standards and for ensuring that all material adheres to the guidelines set forth in the graphic standards manual [6.3 mb PDF].
Updated in October 2013, our university graphic standards manual is the guide to applying our visual image and identity to the materials through which we communicate as a university. This manual covers topics such as identity, logos, fonts, colors and design.
All communications materials representing the university must be proofread and approved by University Communications. University funds may not be used for designs that are not in compliance with graphic standards or content that has not been reviewed by our writer/editor. Procurement Services requires this approval from University Communications in order to process payment for all printed materials, advertising or promotional items representing the university.
