Mary Hill

Mary Hill currently serves as the executive director of food services for the Jackson (MS) Public School System.  She obtained a B.S. in home economics in 1978 and an M.S. in home economics and secondary education in 1980, both from Southern Miss.  She also teaches specialized nutrition courses for Holmes Community College in Ridgeland, MS. 

Mrs. Hill has a variety of leadership and volunteer experience, including the following:

1988-1989       President of the Mississippi School Food Service Association 

1998-2002       President of the Jackson (MS) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

2007-2009       President of the School Nutrition Association

2007-2012       Board of Directors, Jackson Alumnae Delta Enterprise, Inc. (JADE)

2008-2009       President of the School Nutrition Foundation

2008-2009       Institute of Medicine, Committee on Nutrition Standards for the National School Lunch and breakfast Program

2011-2012       Chair, Board of Directors Mississippi Food Network

2010-2011       Vice Chair, Board of Directors Mississippi Food Network

2010-2013       Board of Directors, Girl Scout Council of Greater Mississippi
