Courtney Guess

My name is Courtney Guess, and I am from Hattiesburg, MS. This is my third year to serve as a College of Health Ambassador. 

I completed my undergraduate studies in Speech Pathology and Audiology in May of 2011 here at Southern Miss, and I am thrilled to now be in the Doctor of Audiology program.  Being an ambassador has given me the opportunity to promote my college, as well as my passion for healthy living, and to learn more about other departments within the College of Health. 

After I receive my doctorate, I plan to continue to be an advocate in the field of healthcare as a pediatric audiologist.  Serving as an ambassador for the College of Health has been a rewarding experience thus far, and I cannot wait to see what this year holds for us.

In addition to being a College of Health Ambassador, I am a Graduate Assistant at The Children’s Center and the Speech and Hearing Sciences Department and a member of the Student Speech and Hearing Association.
