Crystal Johnson

Crystal C. Johnson is a native Detroit, Michigan, but grew up in Edwards, Miss. She is a junior majoring in health policy and administration in the Department of Community Health Sciences. This fall she serves as the president of the College of Health Ambassadors.

Crystal is active on the Southern Miss campus in the Leadership Scholar Program, Eagle Ambassadors, Wellness Ambassadors, SGA Election and Philanthropy Commission, Wesley Foundation Leadership Team, and the Legacy Student Alumni Association. She enjoys socializing with her peers as well as meeting new people.

Crystal’s hobbies include sewing, reading books, doing makeup, shopping, hanging out with friends, and having fun. She values her relationship with God as well as with her family. Crystal feels that an education is a vital part of the human growth and development and knows that it is very important to her success.

Crystal’s goals include obtaining dual master’s degrees in public health with an emphasis in chronic disease epidemiology and nursing. She hopes to be a public health nurse and assist women and children in low income areas.
