Emily Marshall
Emily Marshall is a senior nutrition and dietetics major from Gulfport, Miss. This is her first year as a College of Health Ambassador.
Emily is a Luckyday Scholar, a member of the USM Student Dietetic Association, a member of Golden Key International Honor Society, an aluma of The Abbey Study Abroad Program in France, and a volunteer at Hawkins Elementary School in Hattiesburg.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, watching old movies, and spending time with friends. Some other hobbies include travelling, reading a good book, and doing the occasional crossword puzzle.
Emily’s career goals are to become a registered dietitian and to work as either a diet counselor or in product development for a health food company. She feels that she has chosen a major that perfects suits her and her love of healthy food. Emily loves that her career path will give her the opportunity to have a positive influence on others’ lives by improving their health through proper nutrition.
