Jennifer Parker
Jennifer Parker is a resident of Laurel, Miss., and a senior in the School of Social Work. This is Jennifer’s first opportunity as an Ambassador to work with students and campus leaders in promoting the College of Health.
She is a member of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) student organization and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), as well as, the Gamma Beta Phi and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies. She enjoys working with organizations such as The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Salvation Army.
Jennifer’s greatest joys in life are her two sons, 15-year-old Tanner and 12- year-old Logan. Her hobbies include: walking/jogging, cycling, reading, watching movies and spending time with friends and family. Her areas of interest in her field are medical social work and school social work. Jennifer plans to pursue a master’s degree in social work.
