Hailing from Biloxi, Miss., Julia Brady is a senior kinesiotherapy major in the School of Human Performance and Recreation and this is her second year as a College of Health Ambassador. Julia is excited about serving as an Ambassador and is devoted to actively participating in all the Ambassador events so that she can have the best possible experience within the organization.
Julia is a third- year resident assistant in Bolton Hall and is active in many campus organizations including Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Generation 6:20 Campus Ministry, Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Kinesiotherapy Club, Legacy Alumni Association, and the Afro-American Student Organization. As hobbies, she absolutely loves to socialize, play the Wii (Just Dance games in particular), decorate, and volunteer wherever needed. Julia feels that it’s imperative that she imprints her mark on Southern Miss and the community in a proactive way so that the environment for future generations can reap the benefits of the value and essence that the Hattiesburg location has to offer.
Julia plans to pursue a graduate degree and become a registered kinesiotherapist at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center within the southern region. By living by the motto, “Love is what love does.” Julia uses her passion to enjoy life and experience all of the wonderful things it has to offer. SMTTT!
