Lien Nguyen

My name is Lien Nguyen and I’m a graduate student from Clinton, MS.  This is my first year serving as a College of Health ambassador and I’m so excited to be part of a team that promotes health.  My major is in medical technology, which deals with the testing of a patient’s specimen.  As medical laboratory scientists, we are involved in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of disease.  I believe I can help make a difference in peoples’ lives as well as recruiting students to join the health force.  In addition to being a College of Health ambassador, I am also a member of the Medical Technology Club.

In my spare time I like to go back home and hang out with my family, especially with my seven nephews and two nieces.  They always make me laugh.  My hobbies are shopping and exercising.
