Mercedes Le from Tupelo, Miss., is a senior majoring in speech language pathology with a minor in deaf education. Mercedes is a Luckyday Scholar, an Eagle Ambassador, a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority, a volunteer at The Children’s Center for Communication and Development, and a College of Health Ambassador.

Through the Ambassador program, she has expanded her knowledge of the academic areas in the College of Health and had the opportunity to work with great leaders on campus. Some of Mercedes’ hobbies are kayaking, painting, and traveling. She has been to four continents and eleven different countries, and she loves learning about other cultures. Mercedes plans to pursue graduate school and become a speech pathologist and work with children.
