Michelle Pontiff
Michelle Pontiff was born in the north, but raised to be a southern girl in Slidell, La. Michelle is attending Southern Miss on a Leadership Scholarship. She is studying sports management in the School of Human Performance and Recreation with a minor in business.
Michelle is currently a member of the Gamma Beta Honor society. In additional to serving as a College of Health Ambassador, she participates in intramural sports and is a member of a number of campus organizations including the Student Eagle Club, the Catholic Student Association, The Real, Peer Advisor for Study Abroad, and the Sports Management Club.
Michelle enjoys baking, watching movies, hanging out with family, traveling, reading and photography. She has even taken a class at Southern Miss to learn how to develop her own film. She is currently working with the Lady Eagles Basketball and volunteering with the sports marketing department.
After this year, Michelle hopes to attend graduate school to pursue an MBA (Master of Business Administration). She wants to go into event planning or community outreach in the sports industry.
