Tyler Broady is from Gulfport, Miss., and is a junior in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science. This is her first year as a College of Health Ambassador.
Tyler has been a part of the Lambda Sigma Honor Society, Afro-American Society Organization, Student Eagle Club, Southern Miss Alumni Association, and Medical Laboratory Science Club. She enjoys playing basketball, working out, and spend time with her family.
Following graduation from Southern Miss with a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, she plans to join the Air Force as an officer. Tyler would like to further her career and go to medical school in the southern region of the United States to become an oncologist. She plans to give back to the community as much as possible. Tyler lives by the motto, “If there is no struggle, there is no progress,” by Fredrick Douglass. She plans to enjoy life as she travels through her journey on becoming a doctor, by putting God first.
