Will Stevens

Will Stevens is a senior nutrition science major with minors in biology and chemistry.  This is Will’s second term as a College of Health Ambassador. Being from Hattiesburg, he is a local kid with a big heart for Southern Miss. Throughout his three years Will has also been heavily involved in Greek life, having been a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and holding several leadership positions. Will has also been a part of the Student Government Association. He served as the director of The Big Event 2014 last spring, which was a full day of community service both on campus and in the Hattiesburg area in which over 700 students participated. He also served as the president of Eagle Connection, a 70+ team of student recruiters who actively serve the university through the recruitment of new students.

Will is a Presidential Scholar and a member of the Honors College at Southern Miss, where he is currently working on his Honors research thesis that is focusing on the relationship between alcohol consumption and dietary behaviors among Greek students. Will is a student worker in the Office of Admissions on campus, frequently giving prospective students and their families campus tours and attending college fairs to promote the recruitment of the next generation of Golden Eagle students.  Will’s future career goals include being a dentist. Upon graduation in May 2015, Will hopes to find a job assisting in a dental clinic for the next year while he applies to dental school during the summer.
