The University of Southern Mississippi is a metropolitan university located in the heart of Hattiesburg, Forrest County, Mississippi. We are located at 31° 10' 20" North, 89° 17' 41" West. The Herbarium is located in 154 Walker Science Building, near the new Thad Cochran Student Union. If no one is working in the Herbarium, staff of the Department of Biological Sciences may be found in the adjacent building, in 709 Johnson Science Tower (tallest building on campus).
