The M.S. is a non-licensure program for students who desire advanced knowledge and skills not only in broad-based areas of education, but in social justice and equity studies. It also provides a graduate foundation for those interested in pursuing advanced study at the doctoral level.
This degree can be completed either entirely on campus in Hattiesburg, or through a combination of online coursework, an eight-week summer residency, and two-week winter residency.
