The University of Southern Mississippi is located in Hattiesburg, MS, right off of Hardy St., the main east-west thoroughfare through town.  To find precise directions from your starting point, check out http://maps.google.com/ or http://www.mapquest.com/ and look for “University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS.” 

The competition will be held in The Liberal Arts Building (#14 -- look for the black arrow).  You can temporarily park to unload your projects on the south side of the building, entering on the southeast corner (look for the red star near the black arrow). 

The simplest way to get to the competition site is to follow the green line from Hardy St., turning northward onto 31st Ave., and then left onto Pearl (LAB is on the corner of 31st and Pearl. 

Because it’s a Saturday, you are welcome to park wherever you can find a spot, provided it is not marked Reserved or No Parking/Tow Zone.  The various Student/Faculty etc. zones don’t apply on the weekend, and the parking checkpoint at the entrance to the university will be un-manned.  No permits needed!  The closest parking lot is the gravel lot right across the street, and there is another across 31st Ave.

Those driving buses or other vehicles that take up more than one parking spot can unload at the contest site and then continue west on Pearl until you come to the the Theater and Dance lot (look for the purple circle toward the left of the map).
