8:30 a.m. -- Shell Finish Line/Alumni Association Homecoming Golf Tournament, Hattiesburg Country Club
The 2014 Homecoming Golf Tournament will take place at the Hattiesburg Country Club. All proceeds from the tournament go toward the Pierce Legacy Scholarship Endowment to provide scholarships for children and grandchildren of alumni. Registration begins at 7 a.m., with the shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Following the tournament, lunch will be served. The cost is $150 per player and includes golf, tee prize, beverages, lunch, two mulligans, entry into the 5/5/5 and the putting contest. This half day summit will have sessions on social and digital media marketing, small business development, new technology and leadership and business development.

1-5 p.m. -- Dixie Darling Alumni Registration and Practice, Payne Center (map)
Registration for Dixie Darling Homecoming events will take place on basketball courts 3 and 4. Following registration, Dixie Darlings alumni will practice in the Payne Center. Following the alumni practice, Dixie Darlings will then practice with current DD’s on Pride Field, from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday Night at the Fountain kicks off with a pep rally at 7 p.m., which will feature the homecoming court, members of the Golden Eagle football team, Seymour, Cheerleaders and the Dixie Darlings. 8 a.m. -- 19th Annual Homecoming Eagle 5K Run, Pride Field (map)
The USM Athletic Training Club proudly presents the 19th annual Homecoming 5K Eagle Run. Check-in is 7:30 a.m. at Pride Field, where the race will begin at 8:30 a.m. Registration is $20. Runners with a USM student ID card or members of the Pine Belt Pacers will receive $5 off the entry on race day.
11 a.m. -- Homecoming Parade
The 2013 Homecoming Parade will take place in the city and on campus (map). The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Midtown Market. After making its way up Hardy Street and onto campus, the parade will end on Fourth Street. For more information and the parade route, click here.
11 a.m. -- Dixie Darlings Alumni in Homecoming Parade
The Dixie Darlings will ride or walk in the 2013 Homecoming Parade.
Noon -- Annual Alumni Association Awards Lunch and Business Meeting

The Dixie Darlings will present their 2013 scholarship recipient.

Calling all Printzers and other alums who worked on the paper, at WUSM or in broadcast/media services for a fun time of discussing changes in the industry and sharing memories of times cherished at Southern Miss. More details to come at the School of Mass Communication and Journalism website.
2:30 p.m. -- Dixie Darling / Dixie Darling Alumni/Decade Group Photo, Stout Hall (map)
All current Dixie Darlings will take a group photo. Following the picture, the Dixie Darling alumni will join current members for a group photo. After the picture, the Dixie Darlings will line up at Bennett Auditorium (map) to participate in the Eagle Walk at 4 p.m.
3 p.m. -- Tailgate Under the Oaks, Long Beach Campus, 730 E. Beach Blvd.
Presented by the Student Government Association and The Office of the Vice President, the community is invited to join in on the fun at the inaugural event celebrating the 2014 Homecoming! Alums, faculty, staff, students and friends are invited to bring their tailgate to the South Lawn of the Gulf Park Campus. In addition to a big screen broadcast of the Homecoming football game, there will be food vendors, live entertainment by DJ Ronnie Hammons, games, inflatables and activities for the entire family. In the event of inclement weather, activities will be held inside Hardy Hall Ballroom.

The School of Mass Communication and Journalism will be taking a commemorative photo of all who join us at the reunion.
4 p.m. -- Eagle Walk (map)

Whether you have been away for one year or 20 years, take the time to visit with other fraternity and sorority alumni on campus. It is a great time to reconnect with old friends/brothers/sisters while connecting with the undergraduate members and staff of the Greek community at USM.
4:15 p.m. -- WUSM Tailgate Series, Centennial Green (map)
Alumni and fans are invited to the concert prior to the game featuring Jarekus Singleton, former Southern Miss basketball player and 2008 graduate. The concert is free and will take place on Centennial Lawn at 4:15. The tailgate will begin at 3 p.m. The WUSM Tailgate Concert Series is in its third year, and features talent broadcasted on WUSM radio.
