Congratulations to our 10 Honors College students who graduated with Latin Designation this December: Lee Helen Harrington, Caroline Randolph, Ashley Brown, Mary Vaughn, Katelynn Gibson, Kristin Teston, Molly Griffith, Catherine Parker, Jelisa Thompson and Sheena Sirovey. Honors students selected for Southern Style team
Seven Honors students were selected for the 2012 Southern Style team:
Emma Burleson, a junior sociology major from Holly Springs, Miss.
Ann Marie Chilcutt, a sophomore communication studies major from West Point, Miss.
Chad Lyman, a junior exercise science major from Mobile, Ala.
Rachel Masters, a junior art major from Ellisville, Miss.
Jordan Mathews, a junior management major from Biloxi, Miss.
J.D. Saucier, a junior biological sciences major from Lumberton, Miss.
Owen Terry, a sophomore communication studies major from Laurel, Miss.
This diverse group of students leaders serve as orientation leaders for Preview days for new students. They also serve as the host group for university events, including commencement, Awards Day and Legislative Weekend. Congratulations to our Honors students and the entire Southern Style team!

A Round of Applause for Tyler Dennis
Pianist Tyler Dennis was recently selected as the outstanding soloist at the Southeastern Jazz Festival at Alcorn State. Tyler, a junior music major with an emphasis in jazz studies, is a presidential scholar. Congratulations Tyler!
