About me: Southern Miss has always been a second home to me, as I traveled to Hattiesburg throughout my youth to attend family holidays and football games. However, attending USM was something totally new and different; I had the opportunity to learn to love Southern Miss from a completely different perspective than I had before. This included plugging myself into different organizations and programs on campus. One of the most formative of these organizations has been the Honors College.

In high school, I was in the International Baccalaureate Program, which meant I was blessed with very small classes and very dedicated teachers. This, of course, positively contributed to my academic experience, and I was looking for a similar experience when I came to USM. I found the same atmosphere in the Honors College at Southern Miss. This inspired me to become a HoCo Ambassador: I wanted to share this magic with incoming and current students interested in the Honors College!

When I graduate, I plan to attend law school and to use my law degree to serve in the field of child advocacy.
