About me: Even though it is hard to choose just one professor as my favorite, I think I would have to say that Dr. Atkins-Sayre, who teaches CMS 111H was my favorite professor this year. As a professor, she is so engaging and really sparked my interest in how speech during the civil rights movement had such a profound impact.
My favorite Honors College experience was travelling to New York City with my theatre appreciation class. I was able to experience the theatrical side of New York City on an entirely new level. From watching Broadway plays to touring a costume shop, it was all so much fun! Our class was so much closer after the trip.
I wanted to become an Honors Ambassador because the Honors College at Southern Miss is unlike any other. It has impacted my college experience in so many ways. I wanted to be able to represent the Honors College and tell prospective students about everything our Honors College has to offer. It truly is an honor to represent such a wonderful program!
