More about me: My honors CHE 107 lecture and lab classes both only have five students, and I have had the most fun in those classes. I eat lunch with my classmates every day that we have class. We laugh and have a good time inside and outside of class and have formed our own little family.
Tina Masterson is my favorite Honors College professor because she genuinely cares about my classmates and me. She gives wonderful pre-lab lectures that give students a thorough understanding of what they are about to do, and she makes students feel comfortable in the lab. She is really like a mother to us! One time after lab, she hemmed a girls' pant leg for her because she was running late for an interview. Mrs. Tina is just a great professor and person, and I'm so excited that I get to have her again for Honors Organic Chem Lab!
For my future, I haven't nailed down specifics yet, but I know I want to go to graduate school and hopefully do some sort of medical research one day.
To future students: AVOID GETTING OVER STRESSED. I know we are Honors students, but believe me, it is NOT imperative that you are as crazy involved as you were in high school. Make yourself a part of things you truly care about. It is not worth making yourself a nervous wreck over. Buy a planner and use it like your life depended on it...because it does.
