About me: I wanted to become an Honors College Ambassador in order to give all new Honors College students the same great experience that I received when I arrived at Southern Miss. The Honors College challenges me to better myself as a student and as an individual by improving my critical thinking skills, developing my individuality and encouraging my continued achievement. My favorite part of the Honors College is the small class sizes. Because the number of students in each class is capped, Honors Students can develop relationships with professors that they would not be able to have in normal-sized classes. Dr. Dave Davies, Dean of the Honors College, portrayed the Honors College as a friendly, close-knit academic community, and I found his testimony to be completely accurate.

After receiving a B.A. in communication studies, I plan to attend law school with hopes of a career in private practice.
