About me: I like the Honors College because of the small classes, and being able to have meaningful discussions with my teachers and fellow students is an option I wouldn’t have in most regular classes. I wanted to become an Ambassador because I felt I needed a way to get involved on campus. Devoting time to the Honors College seemed like the best way I could do that because it helps the next generation of Eagles find their place on campus.

I love the different teachers I have gotten to study under this year, especially Dr. Kuczaj and Dr. Goertzen! Their active learning trips have been an amazing help to my understanding of the world and how fun being a professor can be. I have recently considered becoming a teacher of marine biology. I have always loved studying animals, and my two trips with Dr. Kuczaj have sparked an interest in becoming a professor in the field. I definitely plan on attending grad school. I am very glad that I made the decision to come to Southern Miss. The teachers that I have met this past year have been amazing and tremendously helpful. I am honored to have studied under them.
