Project Summary:
In our community, as well as nation-wide, Hispanic students are facing increasing challenges as a result of little or no English speaking ability and difficulty acquiring access to American cultural practices.
The Hispanic Project is designed to facilitate the education and assimilation of students into their respective grade levels and to further encourage students' educational growth. By increasing facility with language and allowing access to American culture, the Project’s over-arching goal is to aid the transition of Hispanic students into American culture.
While primarily focused on K-12 students, the Project is not limited to school-age children. Tutoring for adults is also available.
