Project Summary
There is an ongoing problem of homelessness in the City of Hattiesburg.  Many agencies are working together to help end homelessness; however, there remains a shortage of shelters in the area.  Many are left without adequate shelter and supplies for daily living.

This project is designed to assist these individuals with items needed for survival, and comfort, in their times spent outside without shelter.

A coat drive will be held on the University of Southern Mississippi Hattiesburg campus from February 11 – 14, 2008.  Anyone can donate a new or used coat, and place them in the labeled boxes that will be located at various locations around campus.

Other activities will be developed as additional needs are identified.
