Home Investment Partnership Progam for the City of Jackson

The HOME Investment Partnership program is a partnership between the Institute for Disability Studies (IDS) and the City of Jackson Department of Planning and Development,

Office of Housing and Community Development, Development Assistance Division, to assist individuals with disabilities or families who have members with disabilities living in their home to achieve permanent home ownership within the city limits of Jackson. Established in 2002, the partnership is a localized model of the statewide Mississippi Home of Your Own Program established by IDS in 1997 to make home ownership a reality for persons with disabilities. To date, 62 families have been assisted through this partnership in becoming Jackson Homeowners.
