People with disabilities can face many barriers to housing. HousingSmart works to ensure equal opportunities in housing for people with disabilities and increase home ownership for individuals with disabilities. HousingSmart provides wide-ranging education and outreach on fair housing, training consumers of their rights under the Fair Housing Laws and training providers including developers of their responsibilities.  Activities for home owners, tenants and home seekers include workshops, presentation and displays at community events.
