Recovery Assistance Services Provided

Katrina Aid Today offers a number of recovery assistance services to clients, including
  • Individualized needs assessment

  • Information on local, state and national resources

  • Recovery planning

  • Housing referrals

  • Referral to employment services

  • Referral for advocacy and legal services

  • Assistance with FEMA/SBA process and application

  • Referral services and follow-up

  • Assistance with IFSP and IEP transitions from one school district to another

  • Special attention to “unmet” needs caused by Hurricane Katrina
