Project MITTS is funded by the Mississippi State Department of Health, Infant and Toddler Early Intervention Program, and sponsored by the Institute for Disability Studies.

MISSION

• Promote the use of recommended best practices in the field of early intervention
• Increase the quality and availability of early intervention personnel
• Provide planned and coordinated in-service training, pre-service training and technical assistance
• Increase the long term outcomes for children
• Promote an effective service system that is family-centered, team-based and facilitates the use of natural environments.
