Family to Family Center - Mississippi's Family-to-Family Health Information and Education Center is a family-focused, family-managed resource center that EMPOWERS families of children with special health care needs to be partners in decisions concerning the health of their children. The F2F Center is a collaboration of The University of Southern Mississippi Institute for Disability Studies, the Children’s Medical Program of the Mississippi State Department of Health, and LIFE of Mississippi, Inc.
ShareCare – The ShareCare Bank is a community of families and friends in Hattiesburg who care for adults with disabilities and senior adults. Open to anyone in the community, each member contributes time to the collective so that time can be withdrawn in the future when needed.
Past Programs with Resources Still Available
HAVEN (Archived Program) – Training is the key to better law enforcement assistance for people with disabilities and the elderly who have become victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Project HAVEN provided training and consultation to law enforcement officers, prosecutors and judges on abuse, neglect, and violence, including domestic violence and sexual assault.
