Adapted Golf Equipment

Through a recent grant from the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services, the University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast now offers the only special-needs service of its kind in the southeastern region of the United States. Toy Library and Technology Learning Center houses a set of specially adapted golf clubs and a special golf cart - the "Model Tee." This equipment can be found at the Tramark Golf Course in Gulfport or call Robbie at TLC for more information.

The Model Tee golf cart's unique foot rest moves the seat and enables a person to rotate 360 degrees without physically moving their legs.  Designed and built light and safe for use on the golf green.   Golf balls can be placed on the right side or left side of the cart for right or left handed golfers.  The golf bag or Model Tee is simple and no struggle for juniors and adults.  Velcro fasteners or straps secure bag.

Below is our newest model golf cart.
