TLC inventory includes many types of specially designed hardware created to access a computer for a person with special needs. 

 

 

Tracker Pro

Tracker 2000 is a hands-free mouse that translates your movements into direct movements of the computer's mouse cursor.

Tracker Pro is a hands-free mouse that translates your movements into direct movements of the computer's mouse cursor.  It imitates a standard desktop mouse or trackball allowing hands-free control of the computer.  Tracker has a sensor that tracks a tiny, reusable dot that is placed on either your forehead or glasses.  When your head moves, the cursor moves.

EasyBall

Easy Ball Mouse-This is a mouse for younger children ages 2-6.

The Easy Ball is is a mouse for younger children ages 2-6.  It can be used on the desktop or held in the lap, it remains stationary so that the child never runs out of room on the desktop.  The large ball requires less fine-motor control, which makes positioning the mouse easier for young children to manage.   It uses a single button so there is no confusion about which button to press. Both the Easy Ball and the regular mouse (in its own port) can operate at the same time.

This keyboard is sized to fit the hands of children.  It is specially sized and spaced to optimize kids typing performance.   It has a button trackball that puts all point and click functions with easy reach and eliminates the need for a separate mouse.  It has color-coded keys for often used keys with Window or Macintosh systems.  Finally it has built-in wrist rest for maximum typing comfort.

Environmental Controls at TLC

Environmental controls allow people to operate different appliances using switches. Radios, TV's, CD players, lights and air conditioning can all be activated by these environmental control switches.

 

 

Infrared Remote Controls

Infrared Systems allow you to remotely control multiple infrared cInfrared Remote Controlsontrolled devices within your environment. Best of all, the user is in complete control. Transmitters are easily programmable and able to scan control devices such as TV's , VCR's or door openers. This enables the user to enjoy more independence.
