Welcome to the latest issue of IDS Youth Notes, a youth e-newsletter for high school and college age youth with disabilities.  IDS Youth Notes continues to include information on education, career and job opportunities, recreational activities, health information and much, much more.  If you have resources or information that you want to share with others, please contact Susan Phillips at susan.phillips@usm.edu or Jerry R. 1) Web site Provides Fun and Educational Activities

On the TERC Web site, you can find math and science activities for learning as well as games and activities.  Please visit http://www.terc.edu/.

2) Foreign Language Survey

The National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange needs your help.  It is looking for input from people with disabilities on their experiences with learning a foreign language.  The 10-minute survey is online, and the survey can be completed any time between now and Oct. 31, 2008.  To complete the survey, please visit http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/47971/foreignlanguages.

3) Online Videos Focus on Graduating and Obtaining Jobs

The New England ADA Center and No Limits Media recently created videos of students with disabilities sharing ways to stay in school, graduate and getting jobs.  To view any of the videos, please visit http://adaptiveenvironments.org/neada/site/student_videos.

4) "My Voice, My Vote" Web site Encourages Everyone to Vote

"My Voice, My Vote" is a Web site for young adults with or without disabilities, to make their voice heard through voting.  The Web site has many resources for youth who want to learn about the voting process and make a difference in their communities.  To watch the video, please visit http://www.myvoicemyvote.org/.
