All students enrolled in the International Development Doctoral Program pay the regular graduate student tuition plus an additional fee.

The program fees attached to each course allow the program to provide meals, equipment, guest speakers and lecturers and additional professional services and items for the program and at the in person sessions.

The IDV Doctoral Program is considered to be an "online" program by Southern Miss. This benefits the students since programs with the online label pay only in-state tuition rate.
