Miss Information Security Policy, any servers registered on this
page are subject to periodic review and testing by the iTech Information
Security Team to verify that appropriate maintenance is being performed.
Such review and testing will be specifically aimed at detecting vulnerabilities
resulting from unpatched and poorly written software. In the event that such
vulnerabilities are detected, the specified system and administrator and/or
secondary point of contact will be notified with relevant information and a
deadline for remediation. If remediation is not accomplished by the specified
deadline, off-campus access to the server will be revoked until such time as
appropriate remedial steps have been taken.
If, at any time, the contact information provided on this form is no longer
valid, off-campus access to the server will be terminated until accurate
contact information is provided
The absence of notification by the iTech Information Security Team is not to be
construed as an endorsement of the server's current configuration and is not
a guarantee that the server is impervious to possible exploits. Full
responsibility for the maintenance of the server is retained by the
system's administrator. Similarly, any undetected vulnerabilities are the
sole responsibility of the system administrator.
