University Grievance Policy
The University Grievance Policy is an umbrella policy to cover any type of grievance that is not considered under a separately defined procedure or a disciplinary matter. When a student has a complaint, he or she is encouraged to first discuss the matter with the parties involved. Every effort should be made to follow the chain of command as one seeks a resolution of the complaint. Many times, this informal procedure is effective. If the complaint cannot be resolved to the satisfaction of the student using informal methods, then the student may file a written, formal complaint.
