EagleApps
The University of Southern Mississippi is excited to announce EagleApps, a new software package for students. We have teamed up with Google to provide their Google Apps Education package customized as “EagleApps” for The University of Southern Mississippi.
EagleApps offers much more than Gmail. Students will have access to Google Calendar for organizing their schedules, Google Docs for creating and sharing documents, Google Sites for creating and sharing Web pages and Google Talk for communicating with others. And, as Google develops more tools, they'll be added to your Google Apps @eagles.usm.edu.

Old email from @usm.edu accounts can be transferred to @eagles.usm.edu accounts by following these instructions (3-page PDF).
| Create and share rich Web pages. Collect all your info in one place. Control who can view and edit your pages. |
| Have questions? Check here to see to if we have the answers. |
IM with friends and classmates, or make free voice calls to anyone else with Google Talk, anywhere in the world. |
| Create and share documents, spreadsheets and presentations online, and download them to your favorite desktop applications. Great for collaborative projects, in and out of class. | |
| Gmail offers large storage capacity (more than 94 times the current e-mail quota), voice and video chat, mobile access, spam and virus protection and a powerful search. And rather than lose your @eagles.usm.edu address after you graduate, Southern Miss graduates can retain that address for life! |
| Organize your life – keep a calendar for yourself, share calendars with your friends and subscribe to public calendars to stay on top of events on campus. |
