Equipment Available for Rent
Costs
There is no rental fee for equipment used by faculty, staff, or students of Southern Miss in an academic course. Rental fees do apply to equipment used in either Continuing Education activities or externally funded activities on or off campus. A security deposit may be required. Some rentals require Equipment Services staff to deliver, set up, and operate equipment at an additional hourly charge. Equipment is guaranteed to be fully operational upon delivery to a customer.
Eligibility
Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and local off-campus organizations are eligible to use Equipment Services.
Availability
Equipment rentals are subject to the availability of equipment at the time of the request. Because there is a limited amount of equipment and because academic courses have first priority, Equipment Services is unable to supply multiple equipment items for conventions or workshops.
Many other items are available that do not appear on the price list below. Please call for availability and costs.

- There is no charge for academic use (i.e. when equipment is used for a listed course offering at Southern Miss).
