Faculty and staff have access to the Southern Miss wireless network.

How to Activate "USM" Wireless Network
Faculty and staff can connect devices to the "USM" wireless network by following these simple steps:

  1. Disconnect from "EagleAir Network."
  2. Select the "USM HELP" network.
  3. Accept the terms and agreement and select "Start."
  4. Follow the remaining instructions.

Eligibility

All active university employees are eligible to access the "USM" Network.

Affiliates are subject to the prevailing rate per affiliate-owned device activated on the university's wireless network.

 

Availability

The Southern Miss network is available 24/7, except for scheduled maintenance periods.

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Phone Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
