Wireless Internet Access for Faculty and Staff:
Faculty and Staff are allowed to activate two MAC addresses. If additional are needed, contact the iTech Help Desk at 601-266-4357 for assistance. Faculty and Staff will not be charged if they use university equipment or for the use of personal laptops on campus.
In addition, campus departments or equivalent may sponsor wireless access to the campus network for designated campus visitors. Requests can be made for individuals, vendors, affiliates (using non-USM equipment) and contractors or for groups (e.g. conferences or other large meetings varying in time length).
