Service Description
Visitors can stay connected to the internet when they come to the campuses of The University of Southern Mississippi.
Services Offered
Visitors to Southern Miss can get connected to the Southern Miss Guest Access wireless network. This includes vendors, affiliates (using non-USM equipment), contractors and guests. Departments hosting a visitor at the university may choose to fund the cost of the wireless for that visitor.
Availability
The Southern Miss network is available 24/7 except for scheduled maintenance periods.

Monday- Friday: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Phone Hours:
Monday- Thursday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wireless service will work on campus and in Pine Haven apartments only, not apartments near campus
Eligibility
All visitors to Southern Miss are eligible to access the Guest Access wireless network.
To request service
For all single users, please sign up for Guest Access by completing the Guest Access Request Form
Departments paying for visitors out of departmental funds, please complete this Department Paid Guest Access Request.
For functions/events being held at the university with 5 or more users, a group account can be given. For group account requests, please complete this form for Group Guest Access Request.
Already have a Guest Access username and password or to access self service options click here.
A mandatory 24-hour notice is required to request group wireless access. Requests received after 3 p.m. central time will be processed next business day.
