Service Description

Students have access to the "USM" wireless network at no additional charge. This service is included in the Student Technology fee.

How to Activate "USM" Wireless Network
Students can connect devices to the "USM" wireless network by following these simple steps:

  1. Select the "USM HELP" network.
  2. Accept the terms and agreement and select "Start."
  3. Follow the remaining instructions.

To request service 

Instructions on how to connect gaming or mobile device to the USM wireless network.

Students with gaming devices - Students will use SOAR to enter devices and the MAC address for each device.

 

Availability

The Southern Miss network is available 24/7, except for scheduled maintenance periods.
