Parenting Gifted Children Conference

 

The Frances A. Karnes Center for Gifted Studies in The University of Southern Mississippi College of Education and Psychology the Annual Parenting Gifted Children Conference. The conference is offered to help parents and other concerned adults better understand the unique intellectual, academic and social-emotional needs of the gifted and talented. All sessions are open to anyone who attends. Please note that this day has been designed for adults and that provisions have not been made for children.

 The conference will include time for parents, professionals and other interested adults to meet and interact. Lunch will be on your own and will be available at the Fresh Food Company in the Thad Cochran Center on the Southern Miss campus. The lunch hour will provide time to mingle and discuss topics of mutual interest with regard to parenting and teaching the gifted. Books pertaining to the gifted will be available for purchase at the conference.

Parenting Gifted Conference will be held April 11, 2015. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
