Physical Education - Supplemental Endorsements

Selection of elective courses leading to a second teaching or supplemental (“add-on”) endorsement is highly recommended, as students with add-on endorsements stand out among the hiring pool after graduation.

Supplemental endorsements require a minimum of 21 semester hours in a content area (with a grade of C or better) OR meeting the minimum score on the PRAXIS II Specialty Area Test. Please note, some supplemental endorsements require specific course work.

Supplemental endorsements are available in Agriculture, Art, Bible, Biology, Business Education, Chemistry, Drama, English, Family and Consumer Science, Foreign Languages, General Science, Journalism, Marketing, Math, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Social Studies and Speech.
