Advisory Board
Governance
While final decisions regarding the Institute shall be made by the Dean of
The USM College Education and Psychology, the Institute will be guided
by an advisory board consisting of educators and those connected to the
field of education. Terms of advisory board members shall be for three
years and staggered in such a way as to apportion the appointments evenly.
A maximum two-term limitation with a twelve-month absence is required for
an individual to be reappointed after serving the term limit. Vacancies
on the Institute Advisory Board shall be Dean.
