Logging into Your Online Learning Account
1. Go to http://southernmiss.blackboard.com
2. Use this page as your bookmark.
3. Click "Log In".
4. If your username and password allows you to log into SOAR but gives you and invalid username/password error here, please visit the following link for directions on how to reset your campus ID.

5. If this is your first time logging in, click the "Check Browser" button if the browser check does not run automatically.
6. When the network login screen appears, log into your Blackboard account with a lowercase w followed by your student or empl ID. For example, if your student/empl ID is 123456, your username will be w123456. The password will be the same password used to access SOAR.
7. Click "OK" to log into your "My Blackboard" account.
8. Say YES to any authentication messages that appear.
IF YOU CANNOT LOGIN TO BLACKBOARD WITH YOUR SOAR INFORMATION:
- LOGIN TO SOAR https://soar.usm.edu/signon.html AND RESET YOUR PASSWORD.
- LOGOUT OF SOAR
- TRY TO LOG INTO BLACKBOARD
