| The goal of the Putting Your Course Online workshop is to prepare faculty, students, and staff to teach and learn in an online setting. Workshop topics will include teaching and learning strategies, organizational management of an online course, Blackboard technologies, and other instructional design elements that are necessary in developing quality instruction.
The workshop begins with a two-week course in an online environment. Participants will use Blackboard communication tools, learn to submit and post assignments, and take an online “test”. The conclusion of the course will be four days spent in a lab setting learning the technical aspects of building, organizing, and managing the course.
