The following resources are made available to support the technology integration needs of faculty, students, and staff:
- Instructional technology hardware and software
The instructional technology hardware and software housed in the LEC are funded by the Title III-A strengthening the Institution Grant. The purpose of the equipment is to support training workshops. Additionally, the Center also serves as an open lab which provides faculty, students, and staff access to multimedia equipment and software necessary for technology integration needs.

A complete set of smart classroom (HVUC) equipment is available for training and self-practice sessions. The standard equipment set for the classrooms includes:

Southern Miss is a pioneer in Sympodium use in its classrooms.
- Faculty mentors
Through the Title III-A Faculty Mentor grant award program, faculty mentors are available in each college to serve as mentors and provide training and guidance to their colleague-related instructional technology.
